Direct Shipment

With direct shipping, you ship to the end customer yourself from your warehouse. It is important here to take into account the specific conditions of the individual marketplaces. This means, for example, that you have to adapt delivery notes, packaging and return forms to the individual marketplaces and national languages.

A basic requirement is fast delivery: 99% of orders must be handed over to DHL within 24 hours, with a maximum cancellation rate of 0.4 percent.

 You can also process domestic returns autonomously – provided that you manage to handle them within 24 hours, as prescribed by the marketplaces. 

For B2C returns from abroad, we take care of the processing via our onQuality hubs.

Direct Shipping on your own account

With this option, you are choosing a variant which requires a lot of personal contribution. For you, this means a large IT project, since each marketplace connection has to be created individually within the IT landscape. The specific shipping guidelines of the marketplaces, such as delivery notes or invoices, must be stored in the system. You can expect to have to regularly update and adapt the forms several times a year.  

You also have to take into account deviations from the internal standard process, for example, because invoices are not created automatically. The delivery notification, including cancellation/return and DHL return code, must be issued when the goods are dispatched.

Interfaces need to be set up with onQuality so as to be able to constantly update stocks and exchange order data and delivery reports.

Direct shipment with onQuality Shipping Software

The OES shipping software supports you in sending the goods from your own warehouse to your customers. After quick implementation of the OES shipping software (cloud), the goods can be delivered together with the shipping papers and packaging in accordance with marketplace specifications, without you having to implement a major IT project yourself. 

With B2C order picking via OES shipping, the first step involves the GTIN scanning, and an item basket is packed via Speedline or a multi-item-basket is picked via the order-picking conveyor. In the second step, the individual item is scanned in the finished basket via EAN-Speedline, or the finished order-picking box is selected.

This means that there is automatic assignment to the order, the channel-specific delivery notes and DHL labels are printed automatically, and the packaging that is to be used is indicated. The shipping confirmation is sent via One-Click.

Cross-Docking

With cross-docking, you do not have to follow any channel-specific shipping guidelines. The goods are stored in your warehouse, and you send the goods to our warehouse or the marketplace warehouse daily, like with a B2B order.

Easy shipping via marketplace or onQuality

With this option, you reduce the internal effort required in your logistics. You can still simply continue to send shipments as with B2B, but you have to deliver the goods to our cross-docking hub on the same day. For example, all orders must be in our cross-docking hub by 2:00 pm or 4:00 pm at the latest. 

Due to the standards defined by the marketplaces, the strict specifications and ever increasing customer expectations, this option is only possible with a daily line haul (same-day delivery), although the cut-off time will be set as late as possible. We would also be happy to support you in implementing the daily line haul. We take care of same-day B2C shipping in accordance with the channel-specific guidelines and can also send the returns back to you daily, or on a schedule of your choosing.

Fulfilment

In terms of fulfilment, we take over the intermediate storage of the goods for you, by means of a consignment warehouse, and ship them from there, whether to end customers, marketplaces or to B2B customers.

Warehousing by onQuality

This fulfilment variant is suitable for customers who do not have a warehouse in Germany or who cannot achieve short shipping times internally. Our warehouse is available here as a consignment goods warehouse. 

You can use our warehouse as a pure marketplace warehouse or handle the entire B2C and B2B business through our warehouse. With the marketplace variant (B2C), you can store a part of your goods with us and restock them at regular intervals. End customers are only shown the availability from our warehouse on the marketplaces. We take care of channel-specific B2C dispatches to the end customer. We can also deliver on Saturdays to offer the best delivery performance. We work with strategic partners from logistics so your business can be scaled at any time.

Marketplaces require fast handling of returns, within 24 hours. We support you in meeting the deadline for posting and crediting, and also take care of re-processing for you so the goods can be resold. You can decide for yourself whether you want to use our returns service, regardless of which logistics model you use for outward product shipment.
